February 19th 2022
Megan Gaines took home 4th in Novice on the flat, Harper Peterson took home 4th in the Open on the flat, Payton Bleach took 1st and 3rd in Limit, Morgan Johns placed 2nd in Limit under saddle, Sydney Spevak took 5th honors in Intermediate on the flat, Kathryn Howard placed 3rd in Introductory, Lilya Gardner placed 5th in Beginner Novice.
February 20th 2022
Harper Peterson placed 5th in Open on the flat and fences, Sydney Spevak was 1st in the Intermediate flat, Brynn Sprinkle was 5th in Intermediate fences, Payton Bleach, Morgan Johns, Kathryn Howard and Megan Gaines had excellent rides in the Limit, Introductory, and Novice divisions.

Harper Peterson took home 4th in the Open over fences, Payton Bleach took 4th in Limit over fences and Morgan Johns also took 4th in section B of Limit fences, Brynn Sprinkle placed 1st and Morgan Johns placed 4th in Limit under saddle, Brynn Sprinkle took 6th in Intermediate fences, Sydney Spevak placed 1st in the intermediate on the flat, Kathryn Howard placed 4th in Introductory, Cat Kruse placed 4th in Novice.

Harper Peterson took home 4th in the Open over fences, Sydney Spevak was 1st
and 6th in Intermediate fences and flat, Cat Kruse was 3rd in Novice.

Sydney Spevak qualified for regionals and after a very tough ride was awarded second and will be headed off to Zones!

Sydney Spevak placed 9th in Intermediate on the flat in a very competitive class. Congratulations Syd!
March 21, 2020:
Two JMU riders qualified for IHSA Regionals during the 2019-2020 show season. Senior Nicole Herzdik qualified to compete in Novice Equitation, and sophomore Sydney Spevak qualified for both Limit Flat and Limit Fences. Unfortunately, the 2020 IHSA post-season was cancelled due to COVID-19. We are very proud of the team for a great season and these two individuals for qualifying for regional finals.
IHSA Zone Finals
JMU Equestrian is absolutely thrilled to be sending senior Sydney Remaily to IHSA Nationals! Two weeks ago she was the Regional Champion in Intermediate Flat, and today she took home the Zone Championship! Incredible! This will be the second year in a row that JMU is represented at Nationals!
November 3rd 2019:
At the final IHSA show of the 2019 Fall Semester, Vicky Orlin rode to the Reserve High Point Rider title. Vicky competed in Open Over Fences and Open Flat to earn points toward this honor. Congrats, Vicky!
November 10th 2018:
WHAT A DAY for JMU Equestrian! We finished Reserve High Point Team by a slim margin of just one point! Vicky Orlin and Kasey Cadle kicked off the day with a 5th and 3rd place finish in Open Fences. Sydney Remaily was up next - finishing 3rd in Intermediate Fences and 4th Intermediate Flat. Sydney Spevak clean swept her Novice classes - she won both Novice Flat and Novice Fences and was High Point Rider of the day! Morgan Johns continued the streak of wins by taking home the blue in the Advanced WTC. Jacqueline Anderson had a strong ride in Beginner WTC finishing 3rd. Wrapping up the day and clinching the Reserve placing for the day was Walk Trot rider Emma Morell - finishing 3rd in her second IHSA show ever! Also competing were Jessica Adler and Faith Sterna with good rides finishing just out of the ribbons!
